How a Trunk Show Works

Submit Your Inquiry

Tell us your city, preferred timeframe, and the garments you have in mind. We respond within 48 hours to confirm feasibility.

We Arrange the Visit

Once confirmed, we coordinate travel, accommodation, and a private venue — typically a hotel suite or private residence — in your city.

Consultation & Measurement

A dedicated 2–3 hour session. Browse fabric samples, discuss your style, and we take every measurement needed for a perfect fit.

Crafted in Phuket

Your garments are handcrafted at our atelier in Phuket over 4–6 weeks with the same care as every in-showroom commission.

Delivered to Your Door

Your completed pieces are shipped directly to your address worldwide via tracked international courier, fully insured.

What to Expect in Costs

A trunk show visit is a premium service. Below is a transparent overview of what the commission entails.

Travel & Logistics

From USD 800 per visit

Shared across multiple clients in the same city. Covers return flights, accommodation, and private venue.

Minimum Commitment

2 garments per patron

Ensures the visit is worthwhile for both parties. Mix suits, shirts, or any combination.

Bespoke Suits

From THB 25,000 (~USD 700)

Full canvas construction, two fittings, choice of premium fabrics.

Custom Shirts

From THB 3,500 (~USD 100)

Egyptian cotton, Swiss voile, and Thai silk options. Collar and cuff customisation.

Wedding & Occasion

Priced on commission

Bridal suiting, sherwani, and occasion ensembles quoted based on design complexity.

Worldwide Shipping

Your garments travel from our Phuket atelier to your door with the same care they were made with.

Carrier

DHL or FedEx international tracked — your garments never travel uninsured.

Transit Time

5–10 business days to most destinations worldwide from our Phuket atelier.

Shipping Cost

Complimentary for orders above THB 50,000 (~USD 1,400). A flat shipping fee applies below this threshold.

Alterations

Minor fit adjustments on return to Phuket are complimentary. Remote alterations can be arranged via a trusted local tailor with our guidance.

How to take a useful reference photo

  • ·Natural light — stand near a window or outside; avoid harsh shadows or flash.
  • ·Full-body & upper-body shots — one full-length photo and one from the waist up help our tailors assess your proportions.
  • ·Fitted everyday clothing — wear a slim T-shirt or fitted shirt so we can see your silhouette clearly.
  • ·Neutral background — a plain wall makes it much easier to read your shape and posture.

A trunk show brings the Kenny & Gita Tailor showroom experience directly to your city. You will be able to view our latest fabric collections, discuss your sartorial needs, and be measured by our senior tailors.
Since spaces are highly limited, we recommend joining our waitlist or booking early. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
We take your initial measurements and style preferences during the trunk show. The garments are then constructed in our Phuket atelier and shipped to you. Follow-up adjustments can be arranged during our next city visit or via specific remote fitting instructions.
